Sunday, February 7, 2010 - As the greater Willow Street area was getting dumped on by almost 2 ft of snow the volunteers were preparing for a possible busy weekend. On Friday night members met at the firehouse to put chains on the apparatus to allow us to get to the emergencies. Saturday was a steady day for the department while members were trying to clean out there homes and the firehouse. Here is a list of call the company ran during the snow storm.
0218 - Squad assist to EMS for Chest Pain
1417- Chimney Fire assist Lampeter. Truck, Engine 2 , Rescue made the response
1734- Rescue assist Conestoga 5-3 with a leaking 1,000 gallon propane tank that was struck by a snow plow
2226- Engine 2, Truck , Rescue handled burnt food at Meadow Ridge at Willow Valley
0126 Sunday - Truck , Rescue, Engine 2 assisted Station 6-6 (Lanc Twp) on a well involved house. Crews arrived and staged. The call was scaled back do to exterior operations only. The Rescue remained on scene till about 0415. Truck and Engine 2 were released by 0228
